Hi, I wanted to make a suggestion for hotmail about reporting/blocking spam emails. Since the LinkedIn hack years ago I am regularly receiving spam emails, it comes in larger waves when my email is next posted on the dark web again. When using my android phone and I move the email to the junk folder I have to open the email in order to report/block the spam. Please can there be a report/block spam button option so I dont have to open the spam email to report/block it as I thought we were not supposed to open spam messages. At the moment when I select an email the only option I get is Read, Flag, Move, Delete at the bottom of the screen. Please see attached screenshot to explain what I mean. I hope this makes sense

In Outlook for Android, the method to report phishing or junk mail should be done before the message is moved to the Junk folder.
Long-press the email subject to select it, then tap the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner. You will find options to report phishing or junk mail there, so you do not need to open the email itself.
For any other requests, please tap your account, go to Settings > Help & Feedback > Send Feedback, and submit your feedback to the developers.
Thank you for this but Outlook automatically filters emails into the junk mail so I will often find spam already in there. Should I send them back to my inbox and then use the method you advised above? Thanks
