I can open it in safe mode, but not normally. I have tried absolutely everything on the Microsoft website and beyond to fix it. Quick fix, Online Repair, task manager disabling pathways, reinstalling Office, absolutely everything. And it won't work...

Thanks for sharing this, Hunter! Something that loads with Excel is crashing it (add-in, profile, graphics, registry, or corrupted startup file).

Try to disable Excel’s hidden startup locations

Even if add-ins look disabled, Excel still loads files from startup folders.

    Do this exactly:

    Press Win + R

    Paste:

    %appdata%\Microsoft\Excel\

Delete or move these folders if they exist:

    • XLSTART
    • Any .xlam, .xlsm, .xlsx files inside

    Then also check:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\XLSTART

(or Program Files (x86) if 32-bit)

    Reboot and test Excel normally.

See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
