When I try to sign into Office desktop applications a grey sign-in window appears and then disappears so that I am not able to sign in. I am signed in if I am working with the web apps (but I do not like that). I have a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription.

2025-12-13T12:26:14.6966667+00:00 I did the latest Windows update, and then it magically worked again.
