Hello! Not really a question but more of a PSA/statement. The December 11/12 2025 windows update that was pushed out has a drive corruption problem!!! I installed the update approximately 12am CST December 12 2025. when I went to use my computer later, it couldn’t get past boot. I attempted to fix the issue on my own but could not. Took it to a local IT store and they said I needed an entirely new hard drive and to wipe my computer. I then took it to Best Buy because it is covered under warranty just for Geek Squad to also confirm it needs a wipe and new hard drive. I have a 2025 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. Wayyy too new of a laptop to have this happen. The Geek Squad employee informed me that I was probably the 5th or 6th person to come in today with the EXACT same problem. I’m hoping that posting this will have Microsoft looking into it.
