I reset my password and now email isn't working right. I sent a test email that was received ok. When they responded to the email it never came through. New emails sent as a test never came through. They didn't go to junk either. I am getting some emails from other sources.

If you're not receiving emails after resetting your password, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some potential causes to consider:

    1. Email Server Issues: The email server may be down or unreachable, which could prevent emails from being delivered.
    2. Subscription Settings: If you are using a service that relies on notification subscriptions, ensure that your subscription is enabled and not opted-out.
    3. Spam Filters: Even though you mentioned emails are not going to junk, it's still worth checking if any spam filters might be affecting delivery.
    4. Permissions: Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to receive emails from the sender. If you don't have permission to view the event details, the emails may not be delivered.
    5. Email Configuration: Check if there are any settings in your email account that might be preventing emails from being received, such as filters or forwarding rules.
    6. Active Directory Issues: If you are part of a Windows Server Active Directory group, ensure that your group settings are correctly configured to allow email delivery.

You might want to run a message trace to see if there are any issues with the delivery of the emails. This can help identify if the messages are being sent and if there are any failures in delivery.

Hi Jeff, thanks for letting me know what’s happening. When you reset your password, your email app or device might not have fully updated the new credentials, which can cause incoming mail to get stuck or fail to sync. Let’s start by checking if you can see those missing emails when you sign in directly through webmail. If they’re there, the issue is with the app settings. Try removing and re-adding your account on your device, and make sure the password is updated everywhere you use email. Also, confirm that your mailbox isn’t full and that forwarding or filtering rules aren’t set up. Are you using Outlook, a phone app, or both? And did you change the password on all devices?
