Hi everyone.

The problem is that when I share my screen on my MacBook Pro (Tahoe 26), I cannot give control to the participants. Basically, the "Give control" button is gray (inactive), and when I hover over it, a circle with a diagonal line appears next to the cursor.
Given permissions:
System Settings -> Privacy & Security:

-> Accessibility

-> Bluetooth

-> Camera

-> Microphone

-> Screen & System Audio Recording

The app is up to date (25306.805) and was installed on 8 Dec 2025

Note: I have two screens, and I've tried on both of them.

Note 2: Also posted on Reddit - Microsoft Teams.

    Hi Maksat, thanks for sharing the details. The reason the “Give control” button is grayed out is usually because Teams is using macOS’s native screen sharing mode or GPU acceleration isn’t active. When macOS content sharing is enabled in Teams settings, remote control is disabled by design. Also, if hardware acceleration is off, Teams can’t process remote input. Here’s what you can try: open Teams settings, go to General, and turn off “Use macOS content sharing.” Then check System Settings → Privacy & Security to confirm Teams has both Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions. After that, restart Teams and test again. Quick question: have you checked if GPU acceleration is enabled on your Mac? You can verify by visiting chrome://gpu or edge://gpu in your browser.
