We initially have an Azure account with one subscription, which includes the Azure Communication Services Resource.
As part of the resource configuration, we have acquired a phone number.

Now that we have created the second subscription on the same account, we wanted to move the Communication resource with the same phone number to the new subscription.

Could someone please provide us with insights on how this can be executed?
Additionally, if this can't be achieved by moving resources, can we consider using a number port as an alternative? What are the necessary steps for its implementation?
The link ("https://github.com/Azure/Communication/blob/master/special-order-numbers.md" ) corresponds to requesting the porting of a phone number, which is not working. Was there another resource that could be utilized for this porting request?

To port a phone number from one Azure Communication Services resource to another within the same Azure account, you cannot simply move the resource. Instead, you will need to initiate a port request for the phone number to the new subscription's Communication Services resource.

Here are the steps you can follow to implement the porting process:

    1. Prepare for Porting: Ensure that you have the necessary details of your current Communication Services resource, including the phone number you wish to port.
    2. Gather Azure Resource Details: Navigate to the Azure portal and select your Communication Services resource. Record your resource's Azure ID and Immutable Resource ID.
    3. Initiate the Port Request: Follow the instructions for submitting a port request. You can find the relevant instructions in the Azure documentation, which details how to submit a "New Port In Request". This typically involves filling out a form with the necessary information about the phone number and the new resource.
    4. Monitor the Porting Process: After submitting the port request, monitor its status through the Azure portal or the communication you receive regarding the porting process.

If the porting link you mentioned is not working, you may want to check the Azure Communication Services documentation for any updates or alternative resources related to porting phone numbers. Additionally, you can reach out to Azure support for assistance with the porting process if needed.
