make the video at 60fps or higher please, 30 fps ruins the video, it makes it laggy. stop believing the eye can only see 30 fps, thats misinformation and a very visible one at that.

You're right, Clipchamp currently only supports exports up to 30 FPS, with no option for 60 FPS. Since it was built for quick, simple editing, higher frame-rate exports aren’t available yet. To request this feature, submit feedback through the Feedback Hub so it can be considered for future updates.

For now, if you need 60 FPS, I recommend editing softwares like VN Video Editor, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve, which support higher frame rates.

well, are they free/without watermark? these things ruin a video too. especially when i literally just want to trim the first 3 minutes to get a 10 second CLIP (with high fps so it doesnt look laggy cause im a gamer)

Hi,

Yes, all of the editors I suggested have free versions. VN Video Editor and DaVinci Resolve do not add watermarks to exported videos, and both support high FPS exports. CapCut may add a watermark when using certain templates or in some versions, though you can upgrade to avoid this. I’d also like to add that Kdenlive is completely free, open-source, and exports videos without any watermark.

kdenlive seems to also decrease the fps, said the file (mp4 format) has to be something whatever converted to "lossy (nvidia gpu only)" or whatever cuz its "dynamic framerate" whatever that means which made the video laggy too

same with davinci, tells me the fps will be at 24 and i cant change it via the settings. even worse.

Hello,

Both Kdenlive and DaVinci Resolve support 60 FPS, but they default to a 24 or 30 FPS project timeline. If you don’t change the project frame rate before importing your clip, the editor will downscale the video to that default, which makes it look laggy.

For DaVinci Resolve, follow these steps to set your project to 60 FPS:

Select your clips in the Media Pool.

Right-click and choose “Create New Timeline Using Selected Clips.”

In the window that appears, uncheck “Use Project Settings.”

Go to the Format tab.

Change Timeline Frame Rate to 60.

Click Create.

Your timeline is now set to 60 FPS, and your exported video will keep the correct frame rate.

For Kdenlive

Go to the top menu and click Project > Settings Tab.

In the Project Settings window, look for FPS.

Change it from Any to 60 fps.

Click OK to confirm.
