    Hello,

Because you edited in OneNote for the web and the section now looks older, the fastest and safest recovery is to restore the section file from OneDrive Version history.

Start in OneDrive on the web where you ran the search. Make sure you are signed into the same account you used in OneNote.

Open My files, then open the folder that holds your notebook. On personal OneDrive it is usually Documents > OneNote Notebooks then your notebook name. Inside that folder you will see one .one file per section. Find the .one whose name matches the missing section, for example Splenic Neutrophils and NK cell biology in the AT infection.one. Select that file and choose Version history. In the history list, pick a version from before the loss today Tuesday 25 November 2025, for example a version from Monday 24 November 2025, and choose Restore. This does not delete the newer version, OneDrive keeps it in the history, so you can undo if needed.

When the restore completes, open the notebook in OneNote for the web again and refresh the page. The restored section should reappear with the pages you had last week. Give it a minute to finish syncing.

If you do not see that section file at all in the notebook folder, or if many sections are affected, tell me the notebook name and roughly when you last saw everything correct, for example evening of 24 November. I will guide you through the next step.
