Hello, my problem is exactly as described in the title.

I will cut to the chase and describe what happened as accurate as I can. So I was playing a game, there is a random chance where the game would hang up and crash, closes the program and the gpu fans would suddenly get loud. I don't know what triggers it, it has happened to many games. Right after that, my laptop will either crash itself and show the warning, I have to shut down and THEN it show the warning, or do anything related memory test for the warning to show itself. So far I've tried is full reset, reinstalled windows, updated video drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled video drivers, updated windows update, and updating BIOS. Dump file link is in the folders below so far at the time I'm typing theres 2, but there will be more the more I crash.

Thank you for your precious time and attention.

The issue you are experiencing with the DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR, particularly when using a hybrid graphics configuration (Intel and AMD), may be related to the incompatibility of the graphics drivers with Runtime Power Management (RTPM). This can cause crashes when the system tries to resume from standby or during high-demand tasks like gaming.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Disable Runtime Power Management (RTPM): Since the AMD driver does not support RTPM, you can try disabling it in the Intel driver settings. This may help prevent the crashes you are experiencing.
    2. Check for Driver Updates: Ensure that both your Intel and AMD graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes, newer versions of drivers can resolve compatibility issues.
    3. Perform a Clean Boot: This can help isolate any software conflicts that might be causing the crashes. You can follow the instructions on how to perform a clean boot in Windows.
    4. Analyze Memory Dumps: Since you mentioned having dump files, analyzing these can provide insights into what is causing the crashes. You can use tools like WinDbg to open and analyze the memory dump files.
    5. Consider Rolling Back Drivers: If the issue started after a recent driver update, rolling back to a previous version of the driver may help.
    6. Check Hardware: Sometimes, hardware issues can cause these types of errors. Ensure that your laptop's hardware is functioning correctly and that there are no overheating issues.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consider further advanced troubleshooting or seeking professional assistance.

    Thanks.

The minidumps indicate the driver "nvlddmkm.sys" as the cause of the crashes. This driver belongs to your laptop's Nvidia graphics card. No other driver is mentioned.

I suggest performing a clean install of the Nvidia driver as instructed below.

Download the latest driver for your graphics card from the computer manufacturer's website. Then, use the free DDU tool to remove the current driver. Then, install the latest driver using the installer you downloaded.

I suggest disconnecting from the internet during the entire procedure.

(Turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect the Ethernet cable.)

    DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

    Nvidia driver download: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/gaming-series/ideapad-gaming-3-15arh05/82ey/downloads/driver-list/component?name=Display%20and%20Video%20Graphics&id=635380F4-448F-4129-AA77-265289D96F6F

    Driver name: NVIDIA VGA Driver

    Version: 30.0.14.7219

(For laptops, it is recommended to use the latest Nvidia driver provided by the laptop manufacturer.)

(Run the downloaded EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.)

If you have the GeForce Experience or Nvidia app installed, disable the automatic driver updates in the application settings.

See if the system will work stably after this.

If the crash occurs again after doing this, please share the minidump it created.

If you need a tutorial for using DDU, I recommend the video below.
