Surface Duo Bumper Discussion

I put the bumper on yesterday.

Pros

-  I can close-open the Duo.  When not in use, I can fold it into phone mode and place it on a table and not worry about scratching the screen.

-  It is gripper in phone mode.

Cons

-  It doesn't bridge the power port and extend to the the lower left corner of phone-side.  When placing it face down phone-side-down, one needs to be careful not to damage the exposed corner,  or place it face down with phone-side up.

-  Doesn't come with ultra-thin bumper for the hinge-edges that are exposed in phone mode.  So, to maximize grippiness, one needs to hold it with one 's left hand.  Not so secure and grippy in the right hand.

-  Develops what must be a very high electrostatic charge.  Place it on a newspaper and it attracts ink like crazy. No need to drag it on the paper.  Just place it.  And, it also attracts and clings onto dust like crazy.

Me, I can live with exercising greater care when placing the phone down and the grip idiosyncrasies.  But, having what becomes a dirty and unsightly phone-frame is more than I can take.
