Hi Elena Litovchuk,
Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. We're sorry for the trouble this has caused you.
I am aware of your desire to connect another pair of Surface Earbuds to replace a damaged pair.
Please note that if you’re trying to use an earbud from another set, it might not work properly because each set of Surface Earbuds is designed to work together as a pair. The earbuds and the charging case are paired together at the factory, and it’s not recommended to mix and match earbuds from different sets.
Here are some steps you can try:
Reset your Surface Earbuds:
This can help to clear any issues that might be causing the problem. To reset your earbuds, put them in the charging case and close the lid, then wait for about 5 seconds. Open the case, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the case for 5 seconds until the LED light flashes amber. Then, close the lid of the case and wait for about 5 seconds
Pair your Surface Earbuds over Bluetooth:
After resetting, you’ll need to pair your earbuds again with your device. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and choose the option to pair a new device, then tap on Surface Earbuds.
Set up your Surface Earbuds in the Surface app:
The Surface app lets you update your Surface Earbuds, personalize settings for them, and much more.
If following these instructions doesn't fix the issue, there may be a hardware problem or compatibility issue.
Kind regards,
Lavenia
